Question Spooky 'malfunkction' in UEd2

this happened after a couple of hours of mapping.. suddenly the scale when i add a new cube or a sheet into my world is multiplyed by ten!
this only affects the Width size, so when i set it to 256 it will be made as 2650! kinda slows down the work
anyone ever had this before?

edit:
almost forgot, this only happends on the map im making now. i can load up an old map or start again from an old save of this map and the scale is correct, but its f00ked again if i load up the latest rebuild of this map
