Well first it fried out... a couple of capacitors puffed... so I replaced those. I lack an oscilloscope though so, no telling what all was bad. Long story short, popcorned all the caps. Colossal repair fail.

I love the idea but I am not impressed with the construction. The potentiometers seems flimsy to me. The equalizer look is nice and extremely simple.

it's too expensive ! I'm like less than 5 euros from my 400 euro budget for the whole thing.

the front design goes well with my case, too (CM 690 II advanced).

EDIT : on your fan controller : Max wattage per fan channel: 6W. not that good if I want multiple fans on a single channel (the fans I have are quite power hungry)

I don't have one. Only ever seen them on the net and in magazine adverts. I just find the Star Trek-ish touch screen interface arousing to my inner geek.

I personally don't have any speed controls on my fans, some are bios controlled the rest are at max.

I need the fan controller because I'm out of space on my motherboard and I'd like to keep my fans completely silent too.

I can well understand that. My MB has more fan ports then I care for and even it didn't I have adapters for the standard 5 rail power supply to 3 rail fan system. The noise doesn't bother me but then I have significant hearing damage.
