What a BS. This whole 'backup' concept is flawed and anyone with a little bit of common sense would have noticed. What if that machine catches fire or is damaged in fire-fighting? What if it is hacked? What if a script runs amok on all file systems? etc. etc. To me, it sounds quite likely that both drives could fail simultaneously.
A backup is not a backup unless it is copied to a remote machine or stored on a tape in a safe.

When I post on a forum, I trust in the forum's hoster to store my posting (for which I spent valuable time) in a safe manner.
BU betrayed this trust. They ****ed up big time. And now they did it again. Which gives me the impression that they simply don't care.

And I surely don't want to have to backup everything I post here myself.

Hey guys, I´m just wondering If anyone can post the "summon" code for spawning iron crates and AntiGrav boots so we can easily pass some "tricky jump" parts of Unreal and NaPali maps... (I can just spawn flashlight, scuba, shieldbelt and amplifier)

I run a regular coop server Psych. I'd be pretty interested in discussing the needed setup for this to make it a voteable section on my server. Looks like fun.

Hey gopo, nice to see you being interested, although I'm not sure if that kind of gameplay would suit you (not for me to decide of course).

I'm not sure if you can make it votable. INF is as total conversion as TC can be, so it requires a server to exclusively run INF with Unreal/UT maps. But I don't know for sure however.

As for setting up a server. You need the INF Coop files. Additional set-up information is here. The Psytex mod is advisable, as it is a facelift to the aged game and all servers use it, but to make it easy to bring INF up to date it is best to use the Infiltration 2.9 CE 2011 installer.

Setting up a server might be tricky, so you can ask for help either here, or on the INF co-op forums. Though, these are quite inactive and it may take some time and perhaps several bumbs to get some answers (which is sad).

When's the next match? I might try to drop in on NaPali this way with you guys.

It's not open unfortunately, but I guess it depends on what you want to do. Indigo makes pretty advanced stuff with his mutators. He rips things from the game and alters them. I don't think there should be a problem, but you can drop Beppo a PM and ask him (lead coder of Infiltration).

Some people would like to play Friday or weekend. Problem is, most players are from Europe and most games happen during the european evening hours. I don't know your location, but if it is NA, than it would be kind of early in the day for you.

I'm EST, normally during the early afternoon there's players burning the the midnight oil in Europe so if you have time during the day you can catch a game. Unfortunately my new ISP has been giving me a hassle and I won't get connected for a few weeks. I'll be getting on as soon as I can tho. Can't wait.
