This looks AMAZING. I'd love to be a tester if that's possible.

If having a decent rig is an advantage, my computer can run UT99 flawlessly, so I guess I don't have a problem there.

Basically, I'm a programmer.
And I need a 6+ month programming project for my masters studies.
I believe that this would be large enough.

Now u-script is not my forte. I've only done some weapons mutators, long time ago.
I can't work on the project while i'm gaining work experience. (right now)

hmm... Command Control seems quite interesting. Put me on hold on that. I can't promise anything, but i'll see what i can do.

I started with the Command Control gt. Still a long way to go for the completed version. I 'might' be able to pull this off.

Also I finally got access to PSX-UT. Do you already have ladders? Need any screenshots of maps?

The PC version maps are almost identical, but atleast Sesmar & Curse have some differences.

Also: How much I need to work to get my name in the BP5's readme?

As for the ladders... No, we don't have them done yet. It would be nice of you to try that too, along with a ladder selector. As for Curse and Sesmar - do you think you can create PC builds of these two editions?

As for the readme bit... no one's name goes into the readme, coz there is going to be no readme. This mod is too extensive, so it will have a full fledged PDF manual and that's where you're going! XD To the credits section

Ahem, and ofcourse I meant PS2-UT.

Scripting and mapping. Right.

I could check the differences between pc & ps2 versions. Item placement and such would be only time consuming, but secrets... if they've added some new shait to ps2 version...

ps2 has some exclusive maps have these been ported to pc?

Yeah that's right, no Assault. The maps are very much like PCUT. Some levels have different pickups and all the teleporter effects are the same.

Graphics detail in the DC version are better than the PS2 version, but DC has no effects (ie shieldbelt). Making some odd levels as Barricade has no Ionstorm&Lightnings, instead it has only clouds.

Theres no females, commandos or necris in this tourney. The models are same as in PCUT.
There's only one skaarj (Dominator), but there appears many skaarj names (Baetal, Disconnect).
Also Loque is not a necris, but a human.
-> This made me think that the DC-tourney predates PS2-tourney and PC-tourney. Since in PCUT the skaarj-hybrids are hybrids and loque has gone through the necris process. hmm hmm...
(Yeah I know that they were just cheap making these conversions, but this makes sense to me. Xan did win what 7-9 times in a row and if the PC version is where malcolm defeats him. why not )

One more intresting thing is that in PS2 your team is ThunderCrash and in DC it's MetalGuard(!).

I have no idea how the goty ladder is differant from the original (does xan use mk2 armor?).

The DC version has many excludeive maps ... are there mappers around if i provide screenshots??

MANY PS2 and DC maps come from Rocket Arena initially. I checked and some BSP work there is basically identical, just pickups/music/naming needs to be done.

It was my job.I tried to create a model of U95dragon,it's complete and he has some anims.
Robot from decoration: I added anims and removed the hose from the back.. Script was not finished for this pawns. I commissioned someone to finish it.. but nothing happened.

Well we now have the real dragon, from 97 tech demo. Only no way to export it for now. Maybe based on that you can improve your dragon model.
