Will wait to hear the verdict when it comes out. The first game ran like complete ass for those who either didn't have Windows xp, or a processor overclocked enough to brute force through the unoptimizations. Steam will probably have a good 50% off sale in the coming months after release anyway so waiting can only lead to good things.

if they add any more scripted events to these games they'll have to change the genre from first-person shooter to point and click adventure.

Treyarch said with this game they wanted to get "PC quality graphics on consoles". This game still runs on a modified Quake 2 engine and console hardware is approaching seven years old.

Blah blah Quake 2... Portal 2 runs on a modified Quake 2 engine too.
Like it looks anything like Quake 2. Who cares if they kept some code snippets.
