I really don't understand the purpose of this event. How is taking your site offline for 12 hours going to show Congress anything?

That list is not the definite. Wikipedia will most probably go to that protest too, I have heard about it. And everyone uses wikipedia, these days so it's really major. and gog.com goes too.

All of them, and they have been doing so for a while. You just get a 'URL not found' page. Talk-Talk recently got caught out for blocking various Torrent sites.

I've never had a problem with torrent sites and I'm with talk talk.

The extradition laws in this country are screwy. Politicians keep promising to change them but everyone knows just how much a politician's promise is worth.

Already signed. Just saw today that SOPA was indeed not shelved. Guess we will find out on the 24th if the internet will have a collective explosion occur.
