Some things I hope they tweak

This game is a blast and I love it but no game is perfect.

What's been bugging me about this game is the insane accuracy of the mobs! They're most always using smgs of some sort yet they can hit you just as good at 500 yards as they can at 50 feet. The same applies for spitting animal mobs. It's reminiscent of the Far Cry days with those stupid rocket launchers shooting from beyond visual range.

I'd like to see them tone the accuracy down at longer ranges just a bit.

I've noticed that rockets cannot be shot directly at mobs. It'll just go right through them! The only way to dmg them is to hit some surrounding solid object. Why? I've had critical situations where I need to drop the guy and the rocket just passes right through. Talk about frustrating.

I don't know if rocket AoE is variable based on the weapon used but sometimes it seems that while the visual affect of the explosion encompasses the mob, he still takes no dmg. It seems inconsistent.

One more issue is probably just a personal quip, but I'd like to see something done with the skags. Lord almighty they're annoying! lol The jumping ones seem to be able to curve their path in mid flight!

Anyways, good to go! Still a really fun game. I love the beserk skill!

My biggest annoyance is that the siren's phoenix skill, which causes fire damage to nearby enemies for a short time after killing something, also lights barrels on fire.

So if you are standing next to a barrel when you kill someone, you die.

Rockets are beyond useless in this game. They serve nothing more than filling my pockets full of cash as this point. Even in the car I use machine guns. Hold both mouse buttons down and go to town.

So, always shoot the barrels before approaching them?

(I mean, that's what I've been doing since day one after I've seen the consequences of standing next to one.)

That kind of works, but it's pretty stupid when you have to pay more attention to the barrels than any of the enemies.

If I actually see a barrel with an enemy somewhat nearby, it explode. So that grew on me. I shoot barrels that are too nearby me.

I felt the same with the RL, Sometimes the rockets even look like they are going trough the bigger monsters.

I only ever use rockets for turrets. The triple rocket launchers are nice for them.

I'll tell you what those old UT skills come into play pretty well when using rockets. Jumping around and shooting the mobs feet to kill them is the only way.

I've found rockets to be completely useless, they do next to no damage. Especially the vehicle mounted ones. You can shoot at skags and stuff with it and it barely scratches their health. Meanwhile, I hop out and shoot at them with any other type of weapon and do plenty of damage. That just seems stupid. I have the same issues with the regular launchers, too.

Some fixes to Bloodwing's pathing would be nice. He seems to flip out regularly.

Fix Lilith's broken skills and stuff. Maybe make it so the phasing explosions and Phoenix don't explode barrels or your damned car.

I'd like to see some tweaks to difficulty, too. It scales up pretty well with multiple people, but I find that sometimes I am just getting my ass handed to me where teammates are tearing things up because they have better weapons. I don't know

Apparently, there is no 3rd playthrough? How about something along the lines of Diablo 2 with its difficulty settings?

I'd like some more variety in enemies too. Pretty much it's bandits, skags, rakk, spiderants, Crimson Lance, Guardians.

I love this game, though.

There is no third play through? Wow.
It should be unlimited plays in my opinion.

Well from what I've read you can play after the 2nd playthrough but there are no quests, everything is level 50, and you can just run around and kill **** for loot.

That kinda makes sense. There is no reason for quests if you've hit max lvl and you can get good loot from mobs. We'll just have to wait for DLC to add more content, quests, and higher lvl.

You know, this game reminds me of Hellgate london in it's play style. It just goes to show you don't need a subscription type game to be successful.

I don't have a whole lot of complaints about the gameplay yet.

although I completely agree about long-distance-mob-accuracy.
some of your enemies can hit you better with a pistol @ 100 yards than you can hit them with a quality sniper rifle. that doesn't make sense at all and is really annoying.

other than that, I'd love it if the day/night cycle was longer.
it seems like I'm always playing at night and I'd much rather play during day time, everything looks a lot nicer. I really wish there was a way to advance/control time to your liking.

but no one's figured it out yet.
we've already seen INI tweaks for color and text changes, so who knows.

OH!
and I almost forgot.
we really need a bank/safehouse type system where we can dump extra items

sometimes I find a really nice weapon that's several levels ahead of me and I can't afford to leave it in my inventory, just waiting for me to reach that level. and sometimes I find an item that looks cool or is fun to shoot or has a funny description and I just wanna' save it. but I can't.

we need a place to store stuff.

For those who completely despise the Rocket Launchers in this game, let me ask you a question. Did you try it with Brick, using a Blaster Master classmod, and spec'ing for more explosive damage?

Also, make sure it's labeled EXPLOSIVE damage, not fire, corrosive, or electric.

The thing is, if it's a rocket launcher that says it does 300 damage and I fire it and it does like 50 damage then I think something is wrong.

Why are you shooting skags with the rocket turret on the vehicle? Just run their asses over!

The vehicle rocket turret works great against things like other vehicles and turrets, especially when you lock on them. It can be affective against living targets, but that's not what it's really designed to do.
