Team Fortress Classic is going to be patched into Team Fortress 2

just kidding. I dont know when TF2 is going to be released. I havent heard anything on the game in well over a year now. and it wasnt even shown at E3. Personally I think the game isnt going to be released. Valved hasnt given any info on it in a very long time.

Well everytime I open the unreal2 forum there are preorders for unreal2 from the same place. Which I think is a little early for it.

we have confirmation that tf2 is in full production by valve, though i don't believe it when i see it, no screens released yet
appears the game is going to have its own engine, looking forward to it

Didn't they plan to use a modded HL-engine back then

I guess they GOTTA come up with a new engine, or the game will ultra-flop.

(honestly, I have seen the things I thought would be cool and new in TF2 in multiple games by now)

I've been waiting for TF2 for more than a while now. Hopfully it will see the light of day ASAP.

As for Diakatana, I don't think John Romero will be trusted to lead another game team. That game cost Eidos far too much to risk them letting him doing another game.

Valve has stated a long time ago that TF2 will feature a new engine.
