I'm done with the beta of my UT CTF map FreightCraft, and I would appreciate if I could get comments and suggestions from people about it. It is available from:
http://s95030374.onlinehome.us/utmap...htCraft095.zip Thanks. --Malcolm P.S. Cobra graciously volunteered to botpath the map, but I would like to get comments on the map first in case I need to change some things. So, this beta does not have bot support. |

I'm just downloading it now, TRG. Comments will be along in a day or so, sorry for the delay.

I'll give you a few comments based on what I can see in the screenshots (I don't have ut installed anymore).
-from what I can see it seems you are still in the stage of learning how to subtract/add brushes (effectively) and joining rooms together. -the textures look wacked (once again it looks like you are still learning the basics of applying textures aswell) Without sounding too harsh, I can't really say anything that I'm impressed about (as far as I can see in the screenshots) - one good thing though is that you've started learning. Learn religiously through tutorials (not by trial and error) and yearn to improve with every level you make. The one thing I hate is seeing level designers that are at the basic level of skill and still produce the same standard of map on their 20th attempt. Good luck. |
