so, would it be wrong if I brought a MS intellimouse (scroll + ball) to work & swapped it with the usb optical intellimouse that is currently at my desk? ... I've been so tempted these past few days.

There are some things more important than an optical mouse. Do the right thing. Virtue is its own reward.

i was hoping that sentence would end something like this:

"but only a rare few..."

i guess it stays...
btw, I do have a certain fondness for the one i currently use (logitech wheel mouse).
