  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

The levels are (half levels are allowed...):

1...Intermediate

2...Advanced / Limited Working Proficiency
Can get by on a basic level in social and working environments. Accent and grammar may have frequent errors.

3...Superior / Working Proficiency
Able to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and professional topics. Can understand normal speech, movies, radio etc. Errors virtually never disturb a native speaker.

4...Distinguished / Full Professional Proficiency
Able to use the language fluently and accurately on all levels normally pertinent to professional needs. Can understand and participate in any conversations within the range of own personal and professional experience with a high degree of fluency and precision of vocabulary.

5...Native
has complete fluency in the language, such that speech on all levels in fully accepted by educated native speakers in all of its features, including breadth of vocabulary and idiom, colloquialisms, and pertinent cultural references.

(see http://www.sil.org/lingualinks/languagelearning/mangngyrlngglrnngprgrm/TheILRFSIProficiencyScale.htm for more details on these levels)

German: 5
Swyzerdütsch (Swiss German): 3
Plattdeutsch (Northern German): 3

English: 3
French: 1
Spanish: 1
B.A.S.I.C.: 2 ;)

Swiss German and Plattdeutsch are both *very* different to German, with a whole new grammar and vocabulary. Almost a language on their own.
