Interfering with an opponent: If an attacker interferes with an opponent by either preventing them from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent's line of vision or movements or making a gesture or movement which deceives or distracts an opponent, then they are offside.

So yes a ref or linesman would flag it up as offside. Plus the general rules of obstruction and unsportsmanlike like behavior would mean that the above tactic would not be allowed.

So, censoring names while leaving profile pictures won't hide the identity of these people when facerec goes mental. You'll then use a cell phone cam to look up info on some random Jane or John Doe (the movie Summer Wars brought it to my attention), and maybe it'll show health and stamina stats, helping you decide whether to start a brawl.
