Release Dates?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

How shall CGO know the exact month when not even the devs themselves know it?
- The official FAQ says Q1.
- But press releases by Infogrames said Q2.

But we try to make sure we stay on track, and we do what we can to keep target release quarters as accurate as possible. The game industry is a difficult place to make accurate schedules though (it's not impossible, just difficult), so sometimes different dates/estimates get tossed around a bit. That's just the way this industry is, and I'm sure you're all used to it by now. Seeing release estimate variations on the order of a year would be troublesome yeah, but variations of a quarter or less are no big deal. As we get closer to release, the picture will get more accurate. In the meantime, I'd just keep it all in stride.
