Bots and Stats?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Have they fixed the problem where the bots appear as players in the gametype stats.
Right now I'm checking the GSPY stats and ut2004 has reached a very good spot in number of players (place nr 8, above UT2003) in only 2 days of release but I'd like to know how accurate these numbers are.

hmm ... there's only +/- 200 different botnames by default.
Unless Gamespy verifies the IP of all the names listed there's no way counting bots would do much to the statistics ...

Perhaps it should also start counting all the aimbots for CS as well ? ;)
