No, I liked the demo, but it wasn't different enough from Jedi Outcast to make me want to buy it, even though I am a diehard Starwars fan. The sabers are cool. but...

Much better than Outcast IMO. I liked how you arent totally stuck doing all the missions (you can skip a few of them) even though you can beat the game with only level 3 Grip and Absorb (grip especially if youve got quick reactions and can toss the offending badguy off a ledge before he can push you away)

Grip is incredibly unbalanced. This is just observation from the demo. I like how the saber combat is less spammy now, and I also like how useful certain acrobatics are now.

I could use enemies that had tactics AI. The enemies have all the tactics of a Doom marine, in Academy. I'd like to see levels with multiple paths. I'd also like to see less mazeish levels.

I still wanna play the finished product, saber combat wins out.

I dont like the fact that you make a concious Darkside/Lightside choice.
JK1 had it better by showing you what path you end up on based on how you had played up to that point.

I am using a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer, and have lmb as primary attack and rmb as secondary, mouse wheel as use and change weapon, and the first thumb button as use force power and second thumb button as next force power. However, when i use either of the thumb buttons, it also activates the secondary fire, which is bloody annoying. Ive tried fiddling with assigning and reassigning controls, but it doesnt seem to do anything. It used to work for JK2, and so im used to it now and want to use it for this. Anyone have any ideas about how to sort this out?

I have no idea DFB, I use use the mousewheel to select force powers. I indulge in playing a "true" Jedi Knight, relying (almost) entirely on my saber and force powers. I just like it that way.

Personally I like the ability to select force powers for myself, it gives it a more rpg feel. I also like how your standard force powers are gradually increased, and that you can choose both dark side and light side powers (luke may have been a good guy but he was known to choke his enemies too).

Well it seems to have sorted itself out. Wish I knew how though. But damn, its a fun game. Zarkazm, er what? Are you saying I dont play like a true jedi? I only use the saber and force powers, (except for the very occasional use of the Tenloss)

Man, in the early missions I am a big E-11 Monkey
I rely so much on Pull that early-game is hella hard without it.
Playing LightSide I usualy max out each force power in this order
Heal
Mind Trick
Protection
Absorb

Darkside is
Grip
Drain
Lighting
Rage

My First time through I balanced it
Heal
Grip
Mind Trick
Protection
Lightning

I've always been hunting for a good server to play on. alas most are filled with to much lag. Anyone else play seige and like it? *L* I think it's one of the better aspects of Multi play.
