A Better Homepage Update - The Bonuspack!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

! IMPORTANT !

Murphy stroke again... nothing big actually this time tho ;)

To get the DoorBreachingCharges to show up within the LoadoutMenu you need to add the following line to your INF_Bonus.int file or simply download the attached version of it.
Code:
Object=(Name=INF_Bonus.INF_LoadoutItemInfo_BC,Class=Class,MetaClass=INF_Core.INFc_LoadoutItemInfo)

I appreciate the work you all put into this mappack but its size, especially of the exe file, is pretty big.
So please use 7-zip [1] for your future exe-files, 7-zip is licensed under the LGPL, so there shouldn't be any problems unless you intend to release a modified version of 7-zip with the target to earn money. ;) You could also reduce the overall size of compressed files a lot.
One of the famoust projects using 7-zip is Firefox [2] (the exe-version) from mozilla.org.
To create those exe files you should use UPX [3]
I hope that you consider those programs, allthough I've to admit that I don't know how to create installers and the like with it. ;)
Thanks for reading,

Matthias

Well i can't say i like 7zip.... at ALL... but i've used UPX and its amazing. Unfortunately, it even gets viruses past Norton AV.

The exe file was untouched... only the manual zip version was reuploaded on our FTP. GDs zip version was changed too already I guess.

We use an installer program that packs the included stuff itself... not as effective as zip as you can see tho.

Uh, Beppo, could you explain what is wrong with the old zip? I downloaded it to a separate server, and I'm part way through downloading it from there, and I'd really prefer to finish this and do a patch or make a few changes than re-download the whole thing.

Just read ;)
Gametype mutators/additions:
NewWave - Author: Beppo
- Description: This mutator was designed to get rid off the one second respawns that sometimes do happen. It can be setup to ie. not allow respawns within the first half of the next wave. This way you force players to stay out at least this amount of time.
INF_Captive - Author: Beppo
- Description: This mutator allows to setup new spawnlocations per map for the Specialist player to seperate him from his team on startup. The included example settings change the setup for the maps Island and ArabOutpost with the Specialist spawning away from his team.

One issue that I noticed:

When using aimview with the reflex sights of the G36 the red dot goes away. was that intentional?

other than that... thumbs up guys

Thanks guys nice. Very very nice. One issue I have with it is the AT4 exploding close to you... It sounds like its not too close. Sorta like the old 2.86 nade explosion bug. It should have a louder sound in close no?
