As you all know, I've been scouring sites and redirects for any and all awesome mods and maps so I can save them from vanishing into oblivion. As such, I've come across some really great mods. Now, I don't want to spoil anything here so I won't give out any examples. Some of you may already know these mods and if so, then you can sit back and shut up because I'm sure some of us didn't.

Another reason for this is also to reestablish a place to download them all. The sites I got some of these from had already started going downhill. I think it will only be a short matter of time before we won't be able to find a lot of these mods as they'll be soon be taken out for whatever reason.

So, enough of that nonsense. What I'll do is update this thread daily or ASAP with a mod, a description of it, what mods it will conflict with, and a DL link. It will be like the Modsquad except much smaller. Anyone can also request a mod, mut, or map and I will do my best to get it to them.

Files will be submitted to GameFront and hosted permanently.

1. BodySnatch Rifle V0.1 Beta

Description: Exactly what it says on the tin. It lets you take direct control of other players and bots for a limited time. It's also very configurable. One of the funnest mods I've seen. And don't worry about the version. I haven't encountered any bugs with it yet in my thorough testing.

Conflicts: None Known

2. Crysis Nanosuit Model

Description: This is the first and will most likely be the last skin I will upload. This is a skin of the Nanosuit 1. Looks great, animates great. The only problem is that you have the usual custom skin problems such as some of the parts of the model not going transparent due to invisibility or the game cleaning up the corpse.

Might I put in a request too: a Bugs Bunny voice pack to go with my Bugs Bunnyman model?
Here you go!

3. Holocator

Description: Place visual duplicates of yourself using beacons from a would-be translocator. As an added bonus, you turn completely invisible when you have any holograms out. And unlimited ammo! A very cool tool indeed if somewhat overpowered.

Conflicts: Not too much, really. The mut for the Holocator itself refuses to work with all but one weapon replacement mutator. HOWEVER, it doesn't matter anyway as you can just use any weapon replacement mutator to add it into the game without any need for the base Holocator mut anyway. Otherwise, you get the occasional problem displaying custom skins but that is very forgivable and you should expect such by now when you use one.

4. Aerial View

Description: This is actually 3 mods in one. It offers a MUCH improved 3rd person view, the ability to give everyone flight abilities, and the ability to give everyone jump boots. Also, all of this can be almost completely configured and each of the three mutators can be enabled or disabled.

Conflicts: The 3rd-Person view offers its own unique crosshair and it looks good but if you disable the mods crosshair and opt to use your own, it will have problems bringing it up. It also conflicts with another mod that I am going to show right after this one but otherwise, it works perfectly.

5. Jump Anywhere 1.0

Description: Not only will this mutator allow you to jump in midair anytime as much as you want, it will allow you dodge anytime, and allow you to freeze in midair too by just pressing crouch while in the air at any time. This is one fun mod to play with. Guaranteed to turn any match into a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon battle on steroids.

Conflicts: As I have said in my other post detailing the conflicts of Aerial View, you cannot use these two together. Also, most any Ballistic Weapons mods will disable the mod as it also wants to take control of the jumping abilities as well. Kind of a bummer but otherwise, everything else works. Conflicts notwithstanding, I strongly encourage anyone to just try this mod out. It's so much fun.

6. Dual Wielding v2 RC2

Description: This is the whole dual-wielding package complete with a new hud to accompany the main dual-wielding mod if you want it. It works like Halo's dual-wielding and it functions very well AND it's extremely customizable. The problem is that all the keys required to use it make it really clunky. You need to map at least four buttons on your standard WASD layout and when you have Ballistic Weapons installed, they simply cannot be mapped nearby on convenient keys with BW taking most of them up. What's also a shame is that due to it's clunkiness, it REALLY wouldn't be a good idea to put this mod on a server unless everyone knew what they were doing with it. So, in summary, a great mod that needs some streamlining. Maybe a simple "Lite" version of it would have been really nice.

7. DMEverywhere

Description: Another simple mod but yet still very cool. This one is actually a gametype that will allow you to play DeathMatch on any of the maps that you have. It won't get rid of gametype items such as flags or domination points but it doesn't really matter because they're all rendered completely inert. You cannot interact with them in any way.

Conflicts: AS-Mothership doesn't want to work but I'm sure the reason for that is no mystery. That's the only map I know of that won't work. Even the 2D maps in U4E work.

8. MutEffects

Description: Hoo boy. This one is probably the most complex mod I've seen. Very powerful though. Basically, what it can do is apply any of a huge list of different effects to almost any actor in a given game. For those who aren't big on Unreal Engine terminology, an actor is any object in the game. Examples include players, flags, vehicles, pickups, etc. The problem is that even with all the directions in it, it's still kind of hard to use properly, but once you get going, it becomes extremely versatile. It's just like a mod that will allow you to piece together your own mods. However, you are constrained by the number of effects in the mod that the author has coded in. While there is a big list, once you learn it all, you'll wish that the author would have made some more for you to use.

Thanatosaurus thanked you for a link man, unfortunately...

...that thing is for UT2003, so let remind you that the ZIP archive of this VP doesn't contain INT file for UT2004, so it won't appeared in the voice drop-down menu under the player or bot, and there are few bugs implemented.

Sorry about that. I have made the .int file for this version of the VP. I have tested it and it now works perfectly.

Here you go!

9. BulletTime v1.5

Description: This mod is just what it says on the tin. You put in a key that you will use for the Bullet Time, set a couple parameters in the Mod Config box (the options available being what resource the Bullet Time draws off of when used (Adrenaline, Health, None) the speed added to your movement so you can still move in bullet time, the amount of resource decrease per second, whether you will go into Berserk mode when activating it, and, of course, how slow you want time to pass) and off you go. And boy, do you go. During testing, I was pulling off some pretty freaking stylish kills. It may be a simple mod that any mod author worth his salt can whip up in 5 seconds but sometimes, the simplest things are the best as I certainly attest to.

10. Advanced Regeneration v1.2

Desription: This mod will allow you to regenerate almost anything you want at any rate. There's a whole lotta settings in here so I won't get into it all. So, it's pretty nice tool to have. This is one of the mods that I find myself using constantly for one reason or another. BTW, fun fact. This is one of the more important mods that I used to have in my collection but I lost. I finally had to go to some Russian site just to obtain it again.

Well, after a little break, time for Season 2.

11. jcbContentMania v83b

Description: You know the Forge game mode in Halo, right? That's pretty much what this is. The only problem with it is that in UT2004, it's just not that practical. Also, this is probably the second hardest mutator to learn right after muteffects. Nevertheless, if you wanted Forge, this is the mod for you without a doubt.

12. Rainbow Shock Rifle v3

Description: Make your own Shock Rifle! This mutator will allow you to customize the color (10 different ones plus flashing rainbow and random color) and damage of the primary fire, secondary fire, and the combo as well as specifying how many times you would like the primary or the secondary fire to bounce off surfaces. The big problem with this mod though is that it won't allow you to customize the fire rates and it will only allow one type of rifle to be used in a match. Still, a fun mod to play around with all the same.

Looking for a mutator that puts players on the same team they were when the last map ended. Does this exist?
