I actually like the segmented pyramid, although I don't know if that's a standard mesh. It does look a bit cluttered with the usual suspects.

As for the brightness, I think that it suits the theme.

Too bright and uninspired.... Sounds like one of my maps ;)

The Pmid is actually the central one from Face-3

Anyway, can I get some feed back on gameplay, I think it's a bit laggy in the center and yes too cluttered.

hmm. I wouldn't say its over cluttered, and (for me, i got a very good system) theres no problems at all with the gameplay. No lag. Here are my thoughts

OK, overall very good. I like how all the clutter is "organized" clutter. It dosn't get in the way too much..

1st Pic = I like how you have alot of freedom in the map. One of my biggest pet peeves is when map designers put blocking volumes in places you should be able to get too.

2nd Pic = This might be my only critsism. Your map is kinda bright. If you go close to these areas (in the pic) you get blinded :p. Maybe tone down the lights a bit.

Other than that. good map.

it is multra bright.. you could set a night sky and totally get rid of some of the static meshes..

Static meshes and terrain were supposed to be a good thing for mappers, but now instead of making a carefully thought-out level with interesting connections and flow, people just stick a few static meshes on terrain and call it good. Even good mappers are doing it these days. :hmm:
