RPGDot posted their review of Deus Ex: Invisible War, giving it a lukewarm rating of 69% overall. Here's a snip:

DX:IW embraces the concept of multiple solutions but how successful it is depends largely on how you feel about some of the design choices. Stealth gameplay is all over the place in DX:IW. For starters you can’t lean around corners and sticking to the shadows is unsatisfying: the game is generally fairly dark and it’s hard to determine where the "real" shadows are and whether you’ll be spotted or not. At times you’ll be discovered when you’re sure you were well-hidden and other times a clumsy attempt will come off. Enemies seem to hear better than they can see – often they’ll react to a noise outside of their visual range and wander around searching for a source that's too far away to be found. Even the hearing is inconsistent with footsteps alerting the enemy but gunshots and other loud noises often go unnoticed.
