I just did a save as wallpaper (1600x1200) and it looks good enough :)

How can u save a 1024x768 picture as 1600x1200??
I think u mean u put it on your desktop, which is 1600x1200. I just tried it on 1280x1024 and the UT logo gets all ****ed up. The image is stretched to fit.

So my question still stands! :)

1280x1024 isn't a "correct" resolution, at least in relation with other standard resolutions. The closest "correct" resolution is 1280x960, which clearly adheres to the 4:3 proportion rule for standard monitor resolutions, which is why it'll appear fine if you stretch a 1024x768 image to 1600x1200 but it won't if you stretch it to 1280x1024.

Maybe Sparky can make us an original one at 1280x1024 perhaps?
Or maybe people should just switch to something with the right ratio like 1280x960.

The problem is, 1280x1024 is kind of a de facto standard by now :hmm: For example, there are way too many games that don't support 1280x960 in the menu options but they've got 1280x1024.
