DESERT 2k4

This is a slight upgrade on the Desert 2003 Bright, which saladin made, so to i made a slight variation for the torso and gave it a black tactical vest instead of the woodland camo.

ending does give me a free view, i cant take good screens of my camos anymore :p

WoodlandSpec work in progress

i just made a screeny of my prototype for WoodlandSpec, im thinking of adding camo to a new backpack texture (camo-ed) and the usual set of elbow pads and kneepads, im also thining of the idea of adding a paratrooper harness for the parachute, but that'll still need playing around with. Here is a screen shot of the chest area, although the shoulder parts will need fixing.

although my work may seem "original", all credits go to SS since i am using the woodland skins by SS. Think of this skin as a conversion.

Now THAT is some sweet **** :p Although the desert should have green knee pads and vest and stuff. That would be more realisitc and help when playing specialist.

edit i put the .int -> Unreal Tournament\System
.utx -> Unreal Tournament\Infiltration\Textures\Camo

for the camo started by saladin but it crashed my inf. :(

edit : for the Desert2004 camo , i have no error problem when i put the .int and the .utx where it should belong. (./System and ./Infiltration/Textures/Camos )

Need some help Ninjin. It seems that the WoodlandSpec cammo crashes my server. I have you other 5 Cammos install okay. I even put on Cammo at a time in and the WoodlandSpec Cammo causes this error.

Sorry this was my issue. To make a long story (I mean real long) short, I over-wrote a custom file I created, which wacked out my server.

I hate when I forgot stuff that I have done....

So sorry for bugging you on this... please forgive.

on a side note, i've been bored so i started on something which i shouldve done a while ago,

the JGSDF WAIR ("Western Army" unit that focuses on modern un-conventional warfare) Although in reality they use the Howa Type 87D (which i would LOVE to see in INF, but i doubt anyone would make it, and im no 3d modeler :( ) i gave them the Sig since its the closest in design.

here are some pics:

as you can see, not much has been added apart from the kneepads and elbow pads and the darkened camo (since the original was a bit too bright), i might add goggles to the helmet and what not
