Creating sound packages

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I've obtained the instructions and followed them through without any problems up to this bit :

Now to the hard part. /~unreal/ubb/html/wink.gif

Right click on [VoiceGirly] and select [Default VoiceGirly Properties...]
Now go back to [SoundFX] on the top right where it says [Classes].
Just below where it says [Announcer], select [GirlyPackage].

The GirlyPackage doesn't appear in the list!
What have I done? Everything before that point went perfectly.

Thanks in advance.

When you put together the sound files into a package you gotta remember to save the package. If you've done that then you have to remember to load up the package if you've restarted UED.

Thanks. It was (as expected) something I'd done as I've run through the instructions again and all is OK.

I've now finished my Duke Nukem and Homer voice packs (although I need some decent quotes to cover the orders). Working on Bart, Ned, Mo, Mr Burns and Grandpa!
