UT3 keeps forgetting my key?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

After this patch, I launch UT3 (via Steam), and every time I have to re-enter my CD key and re-login. Anyone else have this? And/or a fix?

I've heard of some people with this problem. There's a sticky about it on the Epic Games forums- see if anything there can help you.

Make sure your INIs are not read only. You can also try clearing them out and letting the game regenerate them :) (Universal fix?)
