For those of us who have duty gear, what have you got and what kind?

I'm pretty limited since my duty gear has to be company-issued, although I'm allowed a few extra things. Right now I wear:

(1) Black leather duty belt, 2 1/4"
(1) Nicholls dual speedloader pouch
(2) Safariland Comp II speedloaders (six each: .38 Special 125 gr Gold Dot JHP)
(1) Safariland 070 level III retention holster
(1) Smith & Wesson Model 10 .38 Special revolver, heavy barrel
(1) Gerber Multiplier mutlitool (in nylon pouch)
(1) Streamlight Scorpion tactical flashlight (in nylon pouch)
(1) Twistlock radio holder
(1) Badge holder with badge

Everything in plain flat black (I never liked basketweave). You military types pipe up, I'm curious to see what you guys are forced to lug around. :)

M16A1, Ephod, PASGT vest and helmet, 5 30rd mags (loaded to 29 rounds, all FMJ), 2 half-liter canteens (lifesaving stuff), bandage pack, a Motorola HT600 or HT1000 radio... that's about it, though extras are added sometimes (like when there's no HT600/1000 and only PRC-77... urk).

By the way Gryphon, don't you wear body armor?

BTW Gholam, why only 29 rounds? Do you guys really not trust your mags that much, or is the Israeli military having budget cuts again? ;)

It's to lenghten magazines' lives by reducing spring pressure... even so, after a while, floorplates bulge and fall out.

Galil mags are loaded to normal 35 rounds by the way, those things are practically indestructible - all-steel construction, reinforcing steel plating on the lips, etc. NEVER saw a damaged Galil mag, EVER.

I always snigger when I hear the words "tactical flashlight".
Why you racist basta...oh, um, nevermind. And yes, I would consider this a tactical flashlight. When it's smaller than a Mini-Maglite but puts out 6700 candela, when its only switch is housed in the tailcap and is momentary/push-on, and a pair of batteries costs $16.00 but only last for an hour of continuous use, I'd say that qualifies as mostly a tactical light.

No, its 64 inches. But when wearing it, you measure your height from the shoulders down. Skip your head and neck. So it seems much longer I guess.

I've got 2 "loudouts" (sic). One winter, one summer.

*Winter

(1 pair) Black jeans, extra loose fit.
(1) Black trenchcoat (I think it's cotton, but it's thick, and heavy) that reaches about 3" above my ankles (makes it about 5'10" long)
(1 pair) Black leather boots that I picked up dirt cheap at an army surplus store.
(1 pair) Boxer shorts
(1 pair) Black socks
(1) Custom made knife. Modified SS replica knife. (Modelled after the 1941 issue dagger)

*Summer

(1 pair) Black shorts, extra long, extra loose fit.
(1) White shirt.
(1) T-shirt. Actually my school uniform dyed black.
(1 pair) Boxer shorts
(1 pair) socks.
(1 pair) ES Koston Mk1 grey/black shoes.
(1) Knife as above.

What can I say... I like black :p
