A Tri-state woman was put in jail Wednesday but not before trying to play her cards right to avoid jail time.

The Cincinnati Post reports Roarie Golder asked Hamilton County Judge Patrick Dinkelacker if she could use Monopoly's famous "get out of jail free" card.

Judge Dinkelacker reportedly then called the sheriff's office which told the judge they don't accept the cards.

It was all a joke, but in the end, Golder was sent to jail for violating her probation after a drug conviction.

I was thinking you'd say that when I was writing my reply. You're absolutely right. Committing a crime and getting caught for it is just about as dumb as it gets. :)

Yeah, criminals should try to commit crimes without getting caught. Why didn't anyone think of it before? :p

Depends...you know those judges. What if the judge was gonna cut her some slack, and she did that, and that just irritated him. That woulda been rough...
