IF guns ended up being banned and they did away with the 2nd ammendment, what's to say they can't just take away some of our other ones, such as the first?

I go back to the point where if everybody had a gun and knew how to use it, then crime would go down massivly...who they hell would rob a bank when every other person in there was going to stop him?
Yeah right... why can't it be as peaceful and safe on US streets as in the Wild West? Everyone knows there was literally no crime back then.
Simple proof: There are alot more criminals in prisons now.

How many lives did you see guns save recently? What, are they using pistols to blast cancerous cells out of people's bodies? "Well done Doctor, you saved him!" "Don't thank me, thank... CHARLTON HESTON!"

This is comedy genius. Please tell me you made this up so I can throw palm leaves down in front of wherever you're walking.

Zenpirate watched Bowling for Columbine.

Actually it was funnier in its first form, but I edited it too much to make it seem less like the 'Don't thank me, thank... the knife!' scene in the Boy Scout Simpsons episode and, like an unsuccessful chemotherapy session, killed most of teh genuine funnay as well :p.

Newsflash: they already did.

Here's my controverbution (controverbution = controversy + contribution):

Switzerland. The swiss all have assault rifles. Americans don't. Gun violence is higher in America. Thus, America needs more assault rifles. And decent training in how to use them. And ammo.

(btw, I actually think that people should be allowed to carry swords before they should be allowed to carry guns. I'd wear a sword if I could. I'd wear a gun if I had to.)

Dosn't sound very law-abiding. Your point is?

This:

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. GOOD. Criminals can and will do their business with guns or without, but at least we can get them out of the hands of jilted spouses, angsty teenagers, and drunken morons.

And this:

Somehow ppl think that owning a gun protects them from criminals. Actually it increases their chances of getting killed.

No. Would you? And everybody has the ability to kill, with or without firearm.
I doubt the black market realy cares for bans. Besides, beeing cop or soldier and using your weapon for a crime are not mutually exclusive. Why should they have them?

Somehow, I have a hard time believing that someone who are against gun control would never even consider killing someone, when that is, in fact, the only reason for guns to exist.

This is probably a shock for you so I suggest you sit down and have a glass of water ready:
People can and do consider killing somone even if they are pro gun ban. Irrelevant. And in case you didn't know: Considering killing somone is neither illegal nor does it hurt anyone.

In case "exist" = "invented":
I suggest you ban the internet seeing how that was created by the military which in itself is a tool for killing people. Obviously war and destruction are the only things the internet is used for today.

In case "exist" = "still around":
Some people love target shooting and wouldn't even aim at a human in jest (which would be a stupid idea anyway).

*edit* *edit2 Well, this was supposed to be an edit *

I only made a joke about this when it was posted but, oh well:
Proof?

In some cases it is. As far as the definition of "conspiring to murder" stretches, anyway.
Kill != murder

Seems I was right in saying it's just a matter of country and culture. What do you know.... basicly all the euros on one side, and the US on the other :p
If you check your globe, you will also find that the Euros are on the right side. :p

completely false DOJ statistics gathered from police reports shows the exact opposite
