Now PuF does make a good point, but what type of mini install are ya talking about? He is absolutely right as far as not installing direct x7 and so on. But, Quake 2 offered three types of install, the min, normal and max.... max being the entire game on the drive (this way you can play with out using the cd), the normal which puts most of the game (files, dll's and so on) on the drive, but you need the cd to play and so on... if this is the type of min you are looking for UT does not have it, you are stuck putting the whole thing in.... Directx 7 is not really part of the game, it is utility used by Windows, it is an extra feature they give to you, so in essance you wont have to download it later...
