A couple problems with UnrealEd

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

1. Whenever I try to select Classes in the Browse box, I get an error that says
"Run-time error '339':

Component 'MSOUTL32.OCX' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid"

and then the program closes. Where can I get the file?

2. Why are the help files missing? Were they included with Unreal Tournament? When I try to go to the help section, it says that it can't find it and that I should uninstall UT. I looked on the CD, and the help files aren't on it. Is this just a problem with my copy of UT or is it like this for everyone?

UnrealED doesn't have the help files, they were never included in any version.

As for the OCX file, I heard this only hapens if you install unrealED from the second CD of UT.
You should install is from the first CD (though I might be wrong on this one).

If the above offended you, you shouldn't have read it.

You could also try to download the Visual Basic runtime files that includes the .OCX files. (can't remember if they are the version 5 or 6 of VB)
