UnrealED2.x PC Version To Mod UC2 Via PC

Hey Guys

I have a idea if EPIC releasing a Tool like UnrealED for the pc to mod uc2 via your pc like ripping the assets of the xbox and load it in the pc and unrealed and make you own UC2 mods and sent it back to the xbox and play your ownt mod!

if epic can patch the game and add new content we can make mods to! so what you want?

yes, sadly for now that isn't goin to happen, but wait till UT2k7 is out... that'll be able to support new maps and such, or should be able to.

Hmm... UC2 file "System\Default.ini" have string "EXEName=avaris.exe" also UC2 have "DefUnrealED.ini, UnrealEdTips.ini, UDNHelpTopics.ini, UnrealEd.int, avaris.int". Avaris.exe is PC version of UC2 launcher. But I think that Epic's never add UnrealED to UC2 because exclusive feautures of UC2 was ported into UT2k.

maybe we could use the inis for ut2k4 for decoding the package files

its wierd when i open it with goldwave ''soundpackage xwb file'' than you can chose a format but i try loads of it and still get high peaks and wierd sounds but i hear sometimes a voice

I've just opened some packages with UTPT 5.0 beta, but don't have result. =(

Today I have extracted all *.u, *.ukx, *.usx, *.utx and *.uax packages from UC1 file "XBoxGame.umd".

If anyone here ever got UC2 to run on a PC, how well does it run graphics-wise to an Xbox? I imagine things like type of video card used factor in as well as stuff like the overhead of the Windows OS....

Anyway, I like to get a modded Xbox to do this since I like having a collection of all the Unreal games on my PC. :D

BTW, if you can't find UCC on the UC2 disk have you considered the Advance Exporter in UDE/WOTgreal?

Im working with the engine its very hard to do it will run but crashs after the first intro movie scene :( unable to find Hardware or something error
