Can someone make a really simple mod to take away the warnings of CD taken etc? SO basically what happens in specialist mode. It irritates my ass off that the moment you take the CD, enemies come swarming in from all corners to shoot you... and yes, i do that myself often too. Wait around the corner, covering an alley, knowing you'll be at CD fast enough to shoot the filthy slimy thief.

NT, you were the one bitching about not getting a message when playing spec saying "I'm turned off of Spec forever because you don't get notified when it's captured" :p

fantastic....that should help...one of the reasons why I tend to play support rather than trying to get the CD personally is that I know as soon as I touch the damn thing I'm gonna be intimately acquainted with some lead :D

Be aware that this changes gameplay a lot of course!
The 'alarm' is turned off and the own team 'only' gets the message now, no alarm sound for CaptureGoals anymore. They work similar to the keypads in ACityBlock now where only your own team gets the message about opening the security doors.

And NT... on what else should it run on? Spec already uses this so only EAS is left or ;)

This mutie is for EAS.

Apparently people didn't get that before (ghost, ntkb ;)) Seriously. It's said about twelve times. This is what it is for. Really. Believe me :)

I have an additional request. It would be cool if defenders could use/access the laptop just like attackers. BUT, instead of the defender taking the CD after the 5 sec, he would be informed if the CD had been stolen or not.

It would be nice to have some way to check to see if it had been stolen. Also, having to sit there and use grab for 5 sec would stop them from just running through and checking it all the time. Also, it would give the CD carrier a nice head start to the extration :D

I agree it would be a nice feature. If you have someone guarding the CD and they get blasted there will be a lull where no one is watching the CD. Say the CD gets stolen, the carrier leaves by door A, defender runs in door B and sees someone else in there and blasts him dead. He thinks he killed the guy before he stole the CD and now he takes up the job of watching the laptop. He doesn't give any warnings or anything to his teammates that the CD is stolen because he's watching it.

Hey, that was just a hypothesis... Would be nice if some kind of clarification was shown that the CD was stolen. Maybe the laptop could be open if the CD is gone? I know that would take a huge animation change, but it's just a thought.
