I've looked at all the tutorials on making terrain for 3dsmax, and I can make some decent looking terrain. What gets me is how to make the mountains like in the first unreal. I've read Mav's tuts and they help a little, but I don't really think that's how it was done in unreal. It seems like someone around here would know the exact way it is done....anyone?
