Umm... I'm afraid the MP3 suppressor firing sounds are not very similar. INF's is more of a light click-click-click... that one had more of a mechanical ring to it. I dunno.

Good work Neo!

MP5 maybe? Anyhow, that was a Navy i think which is 9mm and the inf one is .40 so maybe that is what makes it sound diffrent..

(it was http://www.hkpro.com/MP5.mov you were talking about?)

Question to ShakKen or anyone else with a reasonable answer:

Suppressor on a LMG?! Is that common or just some crazy Norwegain crap?

I'll be damned... I couldn't imagine a grenade launcher sounding like that.

The thing I don't like about the suppressed weapon sounds is the relative volume. Reloading the weapon sounds louder than firing, and the shell casings hitting the floor is almost as loud. That can't be right... or am I missing something?

Anyway...

"Sp!ke": A suppressor is a very efficient flash suppressor. If that is one, it's probably for that purpose, although swapping barrels is going to be a bit of a problem :p

Could be a low pressure adaptor for specialised ammunition.

I'd have to agree with you there Shakken, thats either a flash hider or a conversion to fire test/none-lethal rounds...sim-fire maybe? hard to say which it is, but my money's one one of thouse 3, its definately not a supressor, its not big enough for that, and hey...what would the point be anyway?

And Neo, good work...duh.

EDIT: That could actually allso be a safeguard for the barrel...if you lover a red hot barrel into snow, it wont be happy, that little stump might just remove that nasty little problem.

What is the pressure thing ? And what you mean by specialised ammunition ? With more or less velocity than normal ones ?
