My level textures?

How do I go about adding some specific small textures to "mylevel" so I dont have to include the whole texture pack
with my map download.
I've tried some tuturial instructiions, but it didnt work.
I'm missing something.

select the texture, export it, then import it into MyLevel.

I probably didnt explain myself well enough. Its the mylevel part that confuses me.
Could you be a little more specific.......
What do I enter at the box that pops up after choosing import?

ok, that mylevel thing is really annoying because there is always one there in my textures folder, so i get confused, and i put it in a different directory.

There's always some moron who packages his map with a separate texture package called MyLevel. KIlls! ME!
