my movers look like crap because the light dosen't change as they move, and i have seen other elevators light change. Also, where the elecavtor comes from, the floor is perfectly non-lit as well as the bottom of the elevator. How do I fix it?

to have lights shining onto moving movers, you need to set dynamiclightmover = true
about, the completely non-lit floor below the elevator, im having trouble with that too

Does that slow the game down? and should i keep as few lights as possible shining on the mover?

try to keep the dynamiclightmover in small areas where the map detail is at a minimum. make the lights normal lights, no fancy lighting effects. The slowdown won't be noticible then.

is there a way to have it render the light at the keyframes and interpolate the light map as it moves?

I saw that in Half life, those doors that open, but not in Unreal Tournament, But try to simulate that, by setting the keyframe that the light is shining to the value when the mover is open...
