Problem installing 3ds Max 4 in WinXP Pro.

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. I tried to install 3ds MAX 4 today, but alas, I have a small problem. (see picture)

At first I thought it may be because of some sort of file settings on the folder it complains about, but I can't figure out why. I used this very same installer on Win98, and it worked with absolutly no hassle.

Can anyone help?

I don't think it's an authorisation matter.

It looks as if it's conflicting with WinXP's file structure or something :hmm:

EDIT: Rogue, do you mean www.discreet.com, or another site?
