Damnit I cant run INF on a new comp! It says "Genport I/O Initialization failure."

I get stuck in a small window on the desktop but I can still play. However When I try to go full screen it gives me the error message "Genport I/O Initialization failure." Its pissing me off since I only get 20 FPS on the desktop. Its Windows XP with a Voodoo 4 4500 PCI GPU. Posted this message on troubleshooting but I dont have weeks to wait for a response.

I know you've probably tried this already, but why don't you try a clean install of UT. Or try reinstalling your video drives. Sorry if this isn't much help.

I tried some new video drivers and DAMN it smokes! 40-50 FPS average on a voodoo 4 4500 pci!? crapola

No 40-50 AVERAGE running around and playing... Peak was like 80 and minimum was like 20. It ran very smoothly. made me jealous...
