i want to program C++, with the aim of progressing to 3D work, using direct3D and/or OpenGL.
Does anyone know any good tutorial sites? any good starting points?
I have Visual Studio 6, and am good at programming in Visual Basic, and fairly good in Pascal, although i've not used pascal for ages.
If anyone has any advice to offer, i'd welcome it.
oh, just so you know, i can just about manage cin, cout, and using variables in C++

thanks for the links guys, much appreciated.
BTW, do i need to get an SDK or anything for open GL? are there any programs that would make openGL coding any easier?
