i downloaded the geforce tweak utility thing posted on PU a few days ago. after inexpertly bodging at it, i found that the fps in Q3, TFC and UT had all bombed. with some tinkering i can get Q3 and TFC back up to their usual 90fps, but that leaves UT looking like ass - horrible frame rate, really blurry textures and huge parts of maps flickering in and out of view.

is there anyway to undo whatever this app might have done, and reset my card (64meg geforce2 mx400) to how it was before? and i've already tried the reset feature in the application itself, it doesn't do anything.

i reinstalled the drivers and all is well - phew.

i think the motto of the story is to not **** with that which you don't understand :)

yeah, i installed this cave-ut mod. it ****ed my ut up. since my pc isnt build to display on 3 or 6 screens to create this more visual effect. i should've read the read-me first. anyway i had to reinstall ut and all its bonuspacks :rolleyes:
