I am a bit behind the actual issues of Perry Rhodan. started with nr. 56 from my dad went trough his collection and I am now reading number1808. I nkow i am like 300 numbers behind. and the LFT is still active. They jsut founded the LD(liga diesnt) whihc is comparavel to the SolAB(solare abwehr) : )

PR is very popular in the US.
I read alot of the series as a teen (darn I'm a old fart!)
Pucky (or Gucky to you Jerrys) was a favorite.
There are alot of websites here in the US dedicated to PR.
I favored Edgar Rice Burrough's John Carter of Mars over PR so what books I had went to my older brother who had at the time nearly 600 paperbacks and I got his ERB's

I remember Icho being on a cover so prolly is available somewhere. He was more of a Cyborg than a war machine having a few human apendages if I recall right.
