this pisses me off.
why does everyone think of Marines as mindless robtic killing machines?
THATS INFANTRY!!! THE MARINES IS NOT SOLEY INFANTRY!
and marine grunt is no different than an army grunt.
sure marines have the strictes and harshest regulations and training. but they are not soley for killing. there are other jobs than infantry or artilery.

We need to maintain a potent killing machine so some other potent killing machine don't come over here and wipe us out. Its very honorable to put ones life on the line for their country. Goat will be helping to protect freedom and liberty. If that means killing those that seek to take that away from us, so be it.

ive thought about applying for the SEAL's but the training is too strenunous for me. i would rather be on a SSBN or a CVN.
if i were to go Marines, dunno what i would be. i know i wouldnt be a grunt. maybe go for DI school. but i still have yet to see all the jobs the USMC has to offer

Go for something technical...computer networking or something....might as well get some good schooling out of it and you will have a skill when you get out.

Of course taking human life is wrong, but if by killing one man you save 2 others, it would be monstrous not to...you just have to be sure that your're doing it for the greater good...He clearly believes that he is. If I ever joined the armed forces ( which i dont plan on doing ) I would try and become a medic or surgeon...at least that why I would be saving more lives that I was taking.
