I need some serious ****ing help

My spare puter use to do this and I found the video card was set to 4x in the BIOS but the thing will only do 2x!! And that`s what it would do....almost boot and freeze. Might want to check that out or just set it to 2x to try.

Ah, but it's not even making it to BIOS setup ;)

there is most probably a jumper on your motherboard which "resets" all your settings to what it originally came like, and in addition to that it will fire up in 16colors protected mode. put your windows disk in a drive when doing that.
