Networking two computers

What is the most effecient way to network two computers to play UT? Both computers have ethernet cards by the way. There will be no getting online, just local. I am looking for simple. Thanks.

I'm going under the assumption that your using Win95/98.

If you don't want to spend the money on a small hub (they run about $20.00), then you can just buy a cross-over network cable, and run it between the two network cards. Assign IP/Subnet Mask's to both machines and your ready to go.
