UT Win2k mouse sensitivity

ok d00dz, i installed win2k and my mouse is way too sensitivo, anyone know how to adjust this? console? ini? help! i already tried reinstalling the damn thing! specs: (as if they matter)

1gz t-boid
256 micron mem
kyro2 (not bad, nice budget card)
acoustic edge (no SB 4 me!)
regular ps2 mouse
40gb hd ata100
msi kt7 pro

ok, i have been posting trying to help people in other threads with problems and yet no one has responded to mine. whats the deal? doesn't anyone know how to adjust mouse sensitivity in the game? hello? call me a n00b, call me a llama, whatever, just give me the answer!

go to the preferences and select mouse speed
you can set it from 1 to ......

normally it is set at 5 ( i think)
