How about this for a teamplay system?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Doyve the Royve

Quite simply the best Royve around!
What about a system like the one in Front Line Force?

Here it is:

In the bottom right of your HUD is a team display showing up to three helmets. This how many of your teamates are within a set radius (like the 512 units suggested by Morgoroth). For each team member within this radius you get an accuracy and stamina bonus, and you slowly regain health (more team members => more health). If there are no team members within this radius then your accuracy sucks, so rambos are easy targets. This system encourages you to avoid being a team killer or rambo, but if you stick with your team you get more kills because you have more accuracy, and therefore do well individually!

Problem solved!

Actually that depends

Online Characters like Snipers are trained to be lone.
I believe that soilders are not just trained in team operations.
Also, any altering done to the accurancy of a solider due to the fact thats he's in a team isn't realistic. The fact that he dares to go alone probably shown his confidences already.
Hey BUT :D<-Thats just me.

BTW, welcome to the board Doyve the Royve! :)

Thats kinda true.

The reason that Rambos exist in INF proves its terms of unrealism, as one of our member yurch said.
We are all trying very hard to find a solution to this problem, like restricting... alota things reallife can't do. A lot of ideas had been processed already. The tough part is to perfect the coding.
I believe a lots of such threads will continue some quite some times or even years.
Give us ur inputs whenever u think u got an idea. :)
U might just become Our H3R0. :D

This is the EXACT same system used, to great effect, in Half-Life: Front Line Force. It basically forces you to rely on rush and massed defense tactics, since, if you don't rush as a group, and frag the room or area you are attacking the defenders will regain most of the health they lost during the firefight while you all respawn and start attacking again. Unfortunately, it places a certain favorable balance in hands of the stick-together defenders. I have personally seen games where 3 defenders held off 10 highly-skilled attackers for the entire match. Granted, this was the version before grenade strength was increased, but it was very noticeable. 2 average and one newbie defender should not be able to hold off 10 very good attackers, at least 7 of whom served in the same clan. A good idea in theory, yes, but in practice, it only leads to an unrealistic imbalance in both realism and gameplay.
