Another suggestion. I was playing Swat 3 CQB the other day and I downloaded a bunch of weapon mods. Everything fromt he p90 to the g36 to the walther ppk. The most intersting thing I saw was the p90 with an ACOG or an Aimpoint attachment on it. I haven't done any research but if the upper reciever of the p90 has the ability to hold those two scopes, it should be added. I don't think it would be any worse then the SG (Except a bigger clip).
Anyways, what are your thoughts?

I know of two attatchments for the P90. A flashlight, and a LAM (Laser).

An ACOG is pointless, its a weapon designed for CQB, magnification isn't what you need.

An aimpoint then would be better off. But anything is better then the little aim sight that is on it. It's worse then the m16 without a scope.

The sights on the M16 are pretty good.

Maybe you just need to learn how to aim through the default sights on the weapons without relying on a crutch.

Hehe, the m16 has one of the better iron sights in INF

... but that doesn't change my opinion that the P90 sights are too-bulky and more in the way than not. I run my display at 1280*1024 and even with the flashlight on in a dim area it's hard to see through the P90 scope. I think of the P90 as a weapon for short range, quick fire scenarios. The blocked view caused by the scope reduces its' potential in this capacity. A choice would be welcome.

Simple. There is no choice.

If you want an alternative, complain to Fabrique Nationale, not the INF team.

In real life there is no alternative, thus in INF, there is no alternative.

And to those of you begging for an Aimpoint for the P90, well, thats essentialy what you have now, except instead of a red dot, you have an open circle and a half-duplex.

The P90 does not have any scope mount capabilities AFAIK, there is no place you could mount it...unless you want to use duct tape, but trust me, you dont!

The P90 CAN be mounted with a full length picatinny rail in place of the issue collimator sight. But this is less than ideal since the optics end up being miles up above the bore axis. Far higher than they are designed for to be acceptably precise.

I don't necessarily want another scope put on the gun, I would just like to be able to take the current one off. And hey, cool scope picture.
