Questions on tweaking the code in the UnrealTournament.ini file over a peer-to-peer multiplayer setup. What must be inserted into the second computers UT.ini file or on the hard drive for that matter, in order for that player to view player/bot skins and voice packs that are installed on the server? It's understood that non-umod skin and voice packs require the manual insertion of a command line in the UT.ini file for the purpose stated above. Do those same lines have to be added to the 2nd computers UT.ini file? If yes, than would replacing the original UT.ini onto the second computer work? If this is not the solution and has the potential of screwing things up for the 2nd computer is there a way to fix it without having to reinstall everything on the 2nd computer? Will coping the UT.ini file over to the 2nd computer not allow that player to log onto a game once started from the server? It worked perfectly before I started messing around with the UT.ini fie. I love this game just for this reason alone. I'm not sure if being able to tweak your favorite games to how you like them is a blessing or a blessing in disguise?

The whole thing.

I suggest, if you tweak one, make a copy, send it to the other, and overlay the new one, make sure all the files are matching and all that, the two UTs should match EXACTLY, unless one computer isn't the same as the other in which case graphics and stuff can be different.

I do just that and when I try to log onto a game I get a message saying file mismatch? I placed the same files on each computer and even entered it into the ini file. For example, if I have obiwon skins assigned on the server as a bot the other computer gives the message above. Are some skins and maps not designed to be played over a multiplayer network where there are assigned bot players and voices? I noticed that in some of my multiplayer games some assigned bots are do not show up. They are there in the game playing, but just invisiable on the 2nd computer.

Both computers have to have a file for it to show up, SO, what I would do is copy the UT folder from the server, and send it to the secondary, and paste the UT folder over the one on the secondary.

Or, that's my guess as to how to do it.
