played to much UT the other night before crashing and had a crossover quasi dream mixing UT with Indiana Jones.

Set in a large rocky canyon, one with rock spires, and large bolders, stunted trees and "scrub" (small ground plants) is a fortress (or secret mitary base for plotline purposes) that attackers must storm to steal sencitive new techknowlogy or information (havnt really decided that yet and would rather have a more oreginal plotline but there is only so much one can do "/) the details of the interior i havnt imagianed but rather it is something on the Outside that makes this so special. Imagian this ( and here is ware the indiana jones bit comes in): High above floor of the cavern is a rope bridge spanning between mamoth spires of rock. One slightly off the beaten path for attackers to get to, the other on the rear of the compond.
Now, a set of jump boots will get the attacker up the spire to a rock ledge on that is on the far side of the spire on the oppisite side of the bridge. with a deemer up there in a shallow cave to help encourage this route maybe but maybe not considering how short it Could make finishing this level... if he makes it. ;)

Wich is going to be much easer said then done defiantly. =) to get to the rope bridge he/she will need to run along the narrow rock ledge and i DO mean run because cunks of it will be breaking off behind him from the footfalls and it May just catch up with him. a platform on the other side is safe ground for a breather and equiped with sniper rifle and ammo if he wants to take a breather but being so far up even max zoom will still present only small targets.

Once feeing brave enough the attacker may want to try and cross the flimsy rope bridge... the only thing i have to say to that is RUUUN!!!
because close to the half way point it Will break. IF the person STOPS moving before the side he/she is on slams into the other side of the spire they will still be able to climb up it like a ladder, otherwise if the person is moving at all, still trying to get across before it hits, the shock of it hitting will knock em off.

The gap being to far enough that the Only way to get across is via the bridge or Redeemer jumping, if you know HOW. ;) anyone trying a rocket or hammer jump after the bridge has broke ( lets make the legde
pathway round the spire regenerate so others can make it up there if they want to chance it) will only hit the other end of the bridge dangling off the edge and tha's if they are Lucky and good. *remember above? Hint Hint! (Its climbable)* If they make it a series of lifts will take them back down the other spire near the final objective.
to make it fair defenders will see a message if youve made it to get into position... if they are quick.

so tell me, what do youall think? to bad I cant do it. "/

I think the idea rocks. I would like to see more maps with more traps that players can activate and traps that activate automatically. I'm not sure, but are there maps out there like this?
