View Full Version : Scripted Pawns in nonSP maps???

I have tried everything to get Nali in nonSP maps, it just won't work, they never show up! Can someone help?

are you using UT or U1?
If you're doing UT make sure you're using the right actor.

What do you mean right actor? There is only 1 Nali. :)

There should be no problem.
My guess is that you have activated an option in the UT advanced preferences such as bNoMonster in which case,your games will never display scripted pawns.

Maverick, I'm afraid that is not the whole solution first off you need to open up the nali's properties and under advanced change game relevant to true and the nali should show up, but if you need more proof then check your email I sent you what i used to figure it out.

bGameRelevant needs to be set to True in order to show up. bGameRelevant will override whatever bNoMonsters is set to. Only exception is with actors that a spawned from a creature factory.
In my map CTF-VPS-Epsilon I have a scripted Nali that even follows a path and does a task when you see him. He is even transparent with no collision for an added effect. You might want to check the map and see what I did. Only problem is a I made the map before I realized bGameRelevant needed to be set to true so the Nali doesn't show up online so don't forget to do that.
