Whoa, I didn't know that exists.
Was it a 1-on-1?

yep only thing is i dont think it really proves who the overall winner is, just 1 kill, it could go either way, well i just prefer the tie :p

When you have a time limit and a frag limit you're going to get sudden death. In CTF it's more common because it's more likely to get a tie after 20 minutes.

I have had sudden death overtimes happen to me all the time in DM matches... and not just 1v1's. I've won most of them usually because the other guy is sitting there going WTF... :)

well I had a TDM match with it
and it went like this
TIE, SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME!
red wins the match
there was no second between it. so it sucks with TDM!!!
it is nice with capture the flag though

The muator "deathcounts" makes the sudden death more interesting. As players lose their frags being killed, the winner will be either the first to kill, or the loser will be first to die (I'm considering more than 2 players, of course).
It's quite easy having sudden death overtimes using deathcounts - its quite hard to keep an advantage, unless you camp a lot, and if the loser lost getting killed, he's going to be pissed off...
