Hi. I have a very large room with some lights with lens flares on them but the problem is that they dissapear if i am too far from them. I've set my DrawScale to 0.15 and they look pretty good from the moment they start being visible. my question is:
how do i set the visibility radius on UED2. I've read this tutorial: http://www.planetunreal.com/dylan/tutorials/lighting1/lighting1.shtm
that says to experiment with smaller sizes of the map but don't say how to expand this radius.

anyone knows how do i set the radius visibility so it is visible from far far away on UnrealEd 2?

Thx. in advance.

Change the light's radius in the properties under "lighting". But I experienced that this setting isn't very relaible in bigger rooms like outdoor areas, while it works well in small rooms!

If you set the radius to 255 then you should be able to see it from as far away as any map should be in size. In large outside areas it is sometimes better to use a mesh light. The corona is concentrated around the light and doesn't grow as you move away and looks really neat if used right. Use the textures in spaceFX for different colors. This is bascially the same way you do the graphics for teleports with those spaceFX watery textures except you choose a flare texture. 2 maps I can think of right off that do this are the assault map with the train (look at the headlights) and CTF-Terra
